Our Story/History
What is Pascalite?
Pascalite is classified as a calcium-bentonite/montmorillonite clay and is regarded as a type of white clay, although it exhibits a creamy hue. It is a non-swelling variety found in Nature's Own Laboratory, situated at 8,600 feet in Wyoming's Big Horn Mountains. Nestled in a beautiful, secluded valley, our mine operates miles away from electricity or plumbing. The high-vortex location contributes to the unique energy level of our Pascalite clay.

Why Choose Pascalite?
Pascalite is so versatile that there are countless reasons you should use it often. It is an inexpensive and natural all-purpose alternative remedy and should always be kept available for use. Many users report that they feel Pascalite is more powerful, yet more gentle, and superior to other clays.
Clay is known to possess both adsorbent and absorbent powers. The natural tendency of clay is to absorb toxins and suck the poison from an environment. Clay is negatively charged and toxins are positively charged — clay has the power to attract toxins like a magnet and stimulate the evacuation of toxic and non-useful elements.
Pascalite Clay helps promote healthy tissue by targeting toxins deep within and drawing them out. It seems to have the ability to know where to center itself to provide the best possible benefit. In this way, clay functions with a kind of wisdom.
Our History
Back in the early 1930s, a trapper named Emile Pascal got his chapped hands coated in this mountain clay substance while setting his traps. Later on, when he washed his hands off, he noticed they were improved.
Pascal began experimenting with and sharing this clay, which seemed to have some very interesting properties. One of whom was a man named Ray Pendergraft of Worland, WY. He became Pascal’s partner in the tiny mine and was convinced that the clay was of real value to ill or injured people who were unable to find relief through standard, typical means.
Ray and his wife, Peggie, personally began to use and benefit from this strange clay. Ray later named the clay “Pascalite” in honor of Emile Pascal. The Pendergraft’s believed so much in the Pascalite clay that they devoted the rest of their lives to making Pascalite available to people all over the world.
Ray passed away in 1998, at the age of 92, after spending more than 60 dedicated years of mining, researching, promoting, and using Pascalite clay. Ray and Peggie instilled this same dedication in their family, and we continue to be committed to this amazing clay!
